Aviators and spacemen emergency recovery power plant

reated by its workers `ISKRA` combo firing mechanisms, which are used in aircraft ejection seats K-36 and K- 37 have shown good results. These mechanisms saved the lives of more than 300 pilots. Combo firing mechanisms were also used in the ejection seat of spacecraft "Vostok" . For emergency recovery power plants of Buran space shuttle cosmonauts’ mechanisms using gunpowder energy have been developed.

Soft landing engines of manned spacecraft "Voskhod" and "Soyuz" landers of all modifications reduce the speed of the landing to levels ​​that meet safety requirements. Soft landing engines have also been developed and tested in JSC "MDB" ISKRA "named after  I.I.Kartukov ". Launch Escape System Power Plant (LES PP) of space shuttle "Soyuz" and its modifications are also widely known. They save cosmonauts in case of accident during the launch vehicle blast-off and the initial leading out.
